AUTO: BLACKS BANNED IN CALIFORNIA TO HELP SAVE ENVIRONMENT

Ride is hot, but you may never have the opportunity to see it, or other black cars, cruising around in California by 2016. In an effort to reduce carbon emissions, California may be banning black and other dark toned car paintjobs.

“If California regulators get their way, auto makers may soon be forced to rewrite a cliché from the Ford Model T era and start telling customers they can have any color they want as long as it isn’t black.”
